Martha Stewart Pre-made boxes

I bought these boxes from Michael's on clearance. There are 24 in a package and they were 5.99 on clearance.
I decided to decorate a few for upcoming seasons.

To cover the bag, I left the bag flat, mesaured the paper (which is makingmemories -Autom Splendor 4x6 sheets). One sheet covers the front and one side...then turn the box over and repeat covering the back and the other side.

I made this Scarecrow using the Cricut PaperDolls cart. I cut the doll at 4. I cut the head seperately at 1 1\2 (real size - this is the only thing cut with "Real Size"). The shirt is cut at 3 1/8 and the pants are cut at 4. Hat was also cut at 4.

I had to cut off the hands and feet...boohoo! I free handed the pole. I ran the doll through my Xyron and then placed raffia on top of the sticky side. I taped the raffia in the top of the hat...then had to cut out a back for the hat.

To make the Santa Suit, I covered the box with red paper. The I added a 1" x 8 1/2" white strip. Next I added the black strip - which is 1/2" x 8 1/2". The red straps are criss-crossed in the back and are 1/2" wide. I tucked the excess behind the red on the bottom of the bag. Buckle- I don't have a square punch so I used DS to make a 1" square (George Cart) and then I made a smaller square to fit inside the 1" square so it would look like buckle. Finally I added some trim I got at HL during Valentine's season.

Scarecrow bucket

I found this cute little scarecrow at Wal-Mart tonight for 1.00 and had to buy him.

My Mom had sent over the pail earlier this week -so it was a freebie.
I had the ribbon already - it is Basic Basic item 15 7877 88.

FALL - I used George cart (1" letters). I used the Cricut "fashion collection" markers to write Fall (used multi-cut x 2). Then I cut the frame from the Sweethearts cart at roughly 2.5" - it was altered a little using DS to make it a tad bigger. I freehanded the border in brown using the brown Cricut marker.

I cut the leaves using various carts. One cart was the Wild Card and I cut the leaf at 3.5" and 2.5" . Then I used my Copic markers to decorate them a bit.

The pumpkin was cut using 3" scalloped ovals (see previous posts for instructions and reference to the original creator of this pumpkin).

I used styrofoam in the bottom to hold the scarecrow in place and then I place tissue paper on top of the styrofoam.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Pumpkin and Spooky House

I made this pumpkin using the Wild Card cart. The oval is the "frame" from the "Leaf" card. I used DS to hide the inside cut out so the oval would not have a cut out in the middle. I cut these at 5" and I used SU! Really Rust paper. With the original blade - I had to multi-cut x 2.

The leaves also came from Wild Card. They are the "Icon" from the "flower" card. I cut them at 1.5" and 3". The swirly greenery is the "Icon" from the "Oval" card. The stem is the "Icon" from the "Graduatn" card. I used DS to mak it longer and skinnier so - I don't have a size for it. I did cut off the excess parts from the diploma. I put some tape on the bottom and slide it in the middle of the pumpkin.

The spooky house was put together by my son (all by himself!!!!) It is made of foam. Michaels had them on sale this week for 3.99...couldn't pass on 4.00 entertainment.

I did take pictures as I was creatin this and will post those soon.

Pumpkin

Fall is approaching!
Click image to make it larger.

Here is a pumpkin I made using the frame on the Cricut Wildcard Cart for image "Thinking". It is a scalloped oval. The ovals were cut at 3" using DS so the middle was not cut out. I used Cricut WIMG for the leaves at 1". The other greenery was cut free hand and wrapped around a pencil for curl.

Here is where I got the idea and she did a much better job than I did!!!!!!!!!!

Gift Bags

Randie's card
Cathy's card

Cathy's gift

Randie's gift

I made these gift bags for my daughter's teachers. I used the Cricut Sweethearts cart for the "cartoche" and outlined it using the Cricut markers. I also used the Cricut markers to write the teacher's name on the Cartoche. I used SU! stamps for the cards.

Recipe Box

I found a recipe box at Michael's for .60. I decided to cover it with some patterned paper. Next I used DS to make tab dividers the perfect size (from the "Fabulous Finds" cart)...Then I used the "Sweethearts" cart to make the cartoches. Inside the cartoches, I wrote "Dinner", "Sides" and "Desserts" using the Cricut markers (multi-cut x 2). I also used the markers to outline the cartoche. Then I cut the cartoche with the Cricut blade.
For the tab dividers, I wanted them to be thick. I used cereal boxes to make them thicker...on the back side, I just used a solid color of cardstock.

I created my recipes in PowerPoint. Printed them on cardstock. Then I used "YourStory" to laminate them. Now when I used them...I can wipe them off if they get dirty while I cook.

Tim Holtz Card

I have been playing around with alcohol ink by Tim Holtz. I inked the bronze brad on gear. It was originally shiny silver. Next I took a clear plastic charm and I inked it - then I stamped it. All embellishments are Tim Holtz.

Next I inked my card. Then I used various stamps with SU! craft pad (white) to decorate the card.

This is a first for me...I've never done anything quite like this before. I'm please with the results for my first time.

Charms

I made these charms using Tim Holtz Fragments. I bought them from Michaels for 9.99 and there are 48 in the package.

I cut my paper with a razor to fit the shape of the charm...then I ran the paper through my Xyron and stuck it to the back of the charm.
Next, I cut the letter using vinyl and placed it on top of the charm. I used A Child's Year Cricut Cart to cut the letter.

The boy is cut at 3 1/2" - I used the negative to etch on the glass. Then I cut the flipped image of the boy in black vinyl.

The letters are cut at 1" using ACY cart (in white vinyl).

Rocket Baby

I created this card for a co-worker. His wife just had a baby boy. Inspiration for this card came from the nursery bedding which is named "Rocket Baby" - the rocket resembles a rocket on the baby quilt.

Beach

We had a wonderful time at the beach this year. It is really sad to see how HUGE Destin is now. Not sure where we will vacation next year. It's fun to get away for a little while, so anywhere we go will be fine with me.

Destin LOs

Here are a few LOs I did of our beach trip this year. Used mainly Life is a Beach cart, but also used George and Wildcard.

Tink Shadow Box

I made these shadow boxes for a special little 3 year old who wanted a Tinkerbell room. Tink was cut at 6" and the layout is just a little larger than 7" x 7". Lots of bling and 3-D - hard to tell in the pics.

Vinyl Vase

Here is a vinyl vase I created for my friend Ann. Each scroll was cut out individually. The vase was clear, but I put a greenish vinyl on for the background.

Decorated Photo Boxes used for Gift Boxes

I made coordinating cards to go with the decorated photo boxes I used as gift boxes.

Gift Box and Card

This is a white photo storage box. I decorated it with scrapbook paper, primas and ribbon. I used the box for a birthday gift. Made a coordinating Birthday card to match the box. This was a fun project! My Xyron came in so handy for this project.

Post-it Note Holders

All Post-it boards have a magnetic clip on the top. These are great gifts for teachers!!!! Also great for home and work!
I am not posting the opposite side of these, but each one is decorated on each side. So, they can be turned over for a different but coordinating pattern.
No Cricut on this one... I used George Cart to cut the flowers. The flowers were embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. Don't have a black post it note block yet...but you get the idea.
This is a coaster I found at Target in the $1.00 bin. 20 coasters come in a pack. For this one, I didn't have to use any paper, just added some coordinating ribbon, Spare Parts brad and Silk Flowers.
Again, no Cricut. I used K&Company (amy butler) precut/scored card for the background. The flowers are Got flowers? Mullberry Paper flowers.

Nursery Decor

Here are some items I made for my friend's nursery.

I used WIMG Cricut cart.

Get Moooving...enjoy Father's day

I made this for my dad. He was a successful farmer. He is now retired.

These were cut using DS. The card is 6x6. I used 2 sided paper, the inside is green.

Birthday Cafe

I created this for my sister's birthday. She was born on Friday the 13th...some years ago.

This cafe took 2 nights to make. I had never done anything like this and have many ideas for other cafes...I find it hard to pick out paper for these projects.

Cafe was cut at 5" from the MC Crcicut cart.
