Want to hear a happy song?

I listen to Sirius radio in my car and my favorite station is the Coffeehouse. They play lots of acoustic songs and songs by people not so famous. Hubby and I are downloading music tonight, and I am sharing with him some of the songs I listen to on the Coffeehouse. Here is one of my is so happy!

It is called "I like you" by SJ.

Hope you like it!

Pockets for Mom's Organizer

I decided to add some pockets to the folder page I made last night. This side has 4 pockets. I need a place to keep coupons...not that I ever use them but I thought if I have 1 place to put them - I might actually use them. Who couldn't use 20% off Bed Bath and Beyond every now and then???

A surprise photo

I found this pic on my camera and knew I had caught something special. I am not sure what caught her attention but I am glad I snapped this shot. It is one of my favorites from our vacation this year. Now if only I scrapbooked!!! :-)

PS -she looks nothing like me...but sooooo much like her handsome Dad!

Mommy's Notebook (Organizer)

Owl Pen holder (bought at Target)

Weekly Schedule - tells Mommy when to send lunch to school and after school activities. Created in Excel, easy for Mommy to update weekly. After school activities start next week, soccer 3x/week and dance 1x/week.

Class Schedule - tells Mommy when Chloe needs to wear tennis shoes to school for PE. Created in Excel.

Homework To Do for Son (his name will be added to the bottom of the folder)

Left: Class Info
Right: Daughter's Homework To Do (her name will be added to the bottom)

Left: Class Information
Right: I needed a handy way to keep up with the Catechism book

Lots more to do to this organizer but wanted to show you what I have so far. I plan to decorate the front cover and add the kids' names to their homework folders. I wanted to create something so my husband and I could quickly glance in here and see what is happening each day. Although, I doubt my husband will ever use it...he relies on me to take care of all the "stuff" and to let him know if I need help with anything.

I made the folder to hold the catechism book, just free handed it. The other folders were bought at Target.

If you have any ideas for me, please pass them along. This is only one of my "get organized" projects...I'm cleaning out my house and getting rid of should see our donate piles!
