Imagine - Bird Label

I wanted to do something different tonight...so I thought about making a shipping label. I couldn't totally do it on the Imagine - hopefully soon! The bird is from the Best Friends Imagine cart (cut at 1.5"). The green/blue label is cut at 2" and the background label is cut at 2.4". All from the Best Friends cart. I printed the fake address using a word processor and then printed it on my printer to make sure I would know where it would print. Then I took the green/blue label and placed it on a clean piece of paper using Repositionable artist's adhesive (3M Spray Mount), placed it in the printer and viola!

Once Upon A Princess

I made this princess card for a 5 year old then decided it wasn't right for a 5 year old. So, then I made the following...I think she will like the hot pink better than the soft pink. I added silver, green and pink stickles to "Celebrate"...I thought she would like the bling. The pink plaid background was cut using New Arrival at 5.5".

Christmas House

I made this with the Imagine Snow Angel cart. Also etched the glass corners - it turned out ok but I need more work on etching...hence the reason for the cream mat. I was going to use a cranberry color but it didn't look as nice.

Imagine - Bird Card

I made this for my officemate. Just a little thank you card since she took me out to eat for my Birthday.

I used the Best Friends cart to print and cut the back ground plaid paper and the bird scene also. I put the blue plaid paper on the inside of the card also. I used a MS punch on the corners.

Snow Friends Treat Bags

I made these bags for my young nephews. Just a little treat for Christmas.

The 2" snowboy was made with the Snow Friends cart.

Snowgirl purses

I made these bags for my 2 young nieces. They have Hershey Kisses inside, the special Christmas ones (Candy Cane). Just a little treat for Christmas.

The 2" snowgirl is cut from the Snow Friends cart. The purse is cut from the Forever Young cart (as large as I could make it on a 12x12 piece of paper). I used double sided paper so the inside has a design as well.

This is my Mom's tree. I had to include the piano, it is in memory of my brother who we lost a few years ago at the young age of 45 due to a VERY short battle with cancer (3 weeks!). He was a very gifted piano player.

Lettering Delights Christmas Tags

This took way longer than it should have. I had to send my Imagine back to PC, it has a bad motherboard. My Expression would not cut a Christmas tree without tearing the paper, so I turned to Lettering Delights.
Finding these guys and the background was easy, but getting it to print was another story. We have a wireless printer but for some reason it decided not to work with my computer today. I had to do a "Print Screen", then put the image in PowerPoint - sent it to my husband...and he printed it for me.

I used my Cuttlebug to dry emboss the blue background paper and I sponged white ink on the raised snowflakes.
The gift tags are for my great niece and great nephew, we drew their names for Christmas. I plan to write their name on the belly of the animal.

CAC - turtle baby card

I used scrap paper to make this baby card. It is actually Christmas paper (double sided). The baby is due at Christmas. The turtle is from CAC and I used the Imagine to create the pattern. The scallop is from the Imagine too.

Thanks Chris and Alex!!!!!!

Gypsy - Hoot 'n' Holler Owl

For Christmas this year, my family decided to draw names. Usually, the adults play dirty Santa and the kids draw names. This is for my 10 year old niece, Payton, who wanted anything with an Owl on it. She loves to craft and wants a Cricut for Christmas...so I came up with this for her. Of course, this is not her only gift, just a little something extra. This is a frame I am currently using in the house so you can't see the scalloped edges. I hope to find a frame that is a little larger (maybe 5x7) and I will put a plain piece of the dark pink paper behind it.

I used the Gypsy for this project. The font is Gypsy Wanderings and everything else is Hoot 'n' Holler. I also used my Cuttlebug to dry emboss.

Peace, Joy, Love

During church this morning, we watched a video...it was about Hope, Peace, Joy and Love...and I knew immediately I had to create a frame with this message. I could only find a mat with 3 openings, so I left off Hope (at least for now).

I used my Gypsy for the first time tonight..."Peace" and "Joy" are from Gypsy Wanderings and "Love" is from the Sweethearts cart. The vinyl words are cut at 1.5". The background paper is K&Company (Secret Santa 12x12 Designer Paper Pad) - found at Michaels for $9.99.

The ornaments and tree are cut from the Imagine Snow Angle cart.

Imagine - Woodland Christmas

This was going to be a card, but I cut the sleigh out too big so, it is now going to be framed. :-) The background is one of the "Bonus Content" on the Snow Angel cart. All items cut from the Snow Angel cart.

Imagine - Happy Holidays Card #2

The Happy Holidays image on the front of the card was cut at 4" and the background paper was cut at 5.5" from the Imagine Snow Angel cart. The pearl embellishment (self adhesive) - made by Recollections - bought at Michaels. On the inside of the card, I cut the tree at 2". The message on the inside of the card was printed on my personal printer...wouldn't it be great if the Imagine could print like this?

Imagine - Happy Holidays Card

House with Happy Holidays above the door. Lots of 3-D on this card. I used Liquid Applique for the snow effect. This stuff is great...it really added a lot of texture to this card. I originally cut this house just to make good use of 12 x 12 paper and I ended up liking it better than what I originally started to create. On the inside, I plan to put, "From our home to yours, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!"

Imagine Ornament Tag

Another Snow Angel creation. This one is a tag. For the center scene, I used Glossy Accents to add a different texture to this tag. This is my first time to use it on a project even though I have had it for a while. On the back, I used a stamp to add some lines to guide where I will place the From/To names.

Imagine Stocking

I made these stockings using the Snow Angel cart. The first one I made, I thought I used too much Stickles, so I printed/cut out another one. I think these would make great tags for presents. I plan to either write or stamp a name on the top of the stocking. Might also break out the Crop-A-Dile to add an eyelet so I can add some ribbon to attach it to a present.

Imagine Snow People Card

Front of card
Inside card

I made this card using the Imagine Snow Angel cart. "Ho Ho Ho" is a stamp I found at Michael's today for 1.00 and the ribbon was also at Michael's for 1.00. The pattern paper was printed using the Snow Angel cart.

Imagine Tree Card

Front of card
Inside card

I made this card with my new Imagine cart, Snow Angel. I thought for days about which cart to buy. I finally decided on this one because I can use it a lot within the next few months.

The ribbon I used on this card was found at Michael's for 1.00. It was the inspiration for the blue on this card.

I used the Cuttlebug to dry emboss the background and stickles to add a little sparkle to the card.

On the inside of the card, I had the pot at the bottom left over from when I printed/cut the birds...when I put it at the bottom of the scalloped oval I thought it made it look like a tree so I added it to my card.

MS Punch - Icicles

I found this MS Punch at TJ Maxx for 3.99. I don't use a lot of punches but I thought for 4.00 it could be fun to play with tonight. Now, lets see if I can get motivated to create something! This punch is fitting today, it has finally gotten a little cold here - actually had some sleet for a little while. Let me know if you find any cool punches at a great price!

Jack - O - Lantern

My husband wanted to create a spider on our pumpkin this year and my son agreed but then changed his mind...so this is what the two of them came up with this year. Kind of spooky, huh???

Love my boys!!!! They did a great job with the help of a 4 year old girl!

Candy treat bags

We are off to deliver these treats to some special neighborhood friends...Happy Halloween Everyone!!!!

Halloween Treat Bags

I made these candy bags for my kids. The spider is cut from the Paper Doll Dress Up cart and the crown is cut from the Once Upon A Princess cart. I chose a crown b/c my little girl is going to be Cinderella for Halloween. The spider, I am sure my son will love. He is going to be Darth Vader for Halloween.
War Eagle!!! Auburn won again tonight - we might make it to the National Championship!!!!

Ghost bag

Ghost without a face
Ghost with face

I made this bag in celebration of Halloween. The bag is from Once Upon A Princess and is 6 1/2". The ghost is from Paper Doll Dress Up - I used DS to size the ghost and get it exactly where I wanted it on the bag.
I put vellum on the inside of the bag so I could hide a battery operated tealight inside. My husband bought rechargeable tealights for me - I LOVE them!

Princess - per request from my daughter

Girl with a "You are my Sunshine" sign...a little something for my husband

I cut all these projects with my Imagine. Yes, I actually got an original cart to work with the Imagine. Just hanging out watching football and playing with my Imagine. I need some new carts but nothing out there I really like right now...hopefully soon!

Imagine Update

Oh - I can't get the Imagine update to work for me...bummer. I can say...I think my Imagine makes better cuts than my baby bug and my Expression. I do hope they come out with some good carts...so far not much out there I am interested in...hopefully I will be able to get the update to work and then they will do another update so we can print and cut our images from the Gypsy. Oh- yes, I finally broke down and bought the Gypsy since it was on sale and I thought it might help with the Imagine.

I really wish PC had better communication. I know a lot of people are having problems with the update and people are confused - was there an update today or not...???

I'm off to play with my Imagine and Paper Doll Dress Up, my son wants to decorate his bedroom door with some Halloween images.

Projects by my 4 year old

Die cut made by K and Company. Glitter glue - she said are rain drops.

How cute is this little guy on the stripe paper?

This is my scrap paper - I didn't realize I had to have the paper a certain size for the punch around the page - heeheee. She wanted to use this anyway. This is her first stamp and stamp pad. We found them at Michaels for 1.00 each. She had so much fun playing with scrappy stuff. I'm happy to have someone in the house who also likes to scrap.

She has already edited the puppy page and once it dries, I will post another picture of it. It's so cute!

Boo! by my 7 year old

On a shopping trip to Michael's we found these little K and Company die cut images. My son made this all by himself. I gave him a box of scraps, a glue stick and left the room. I love the everything about this. My husband just walked up and said "you made that?" and I told him our son did...he said,"it looks professional".

I thought it was too cute not to share. Please leave a comment, I am sure someone will want to see what you have to say! Thanks!!!!!
****edited to add the first picture. As I was posting the pics of what the kids made, my son went and made the picture on top. I love how he stacked the pumpkins on top of each other. Sooo creative.

Imagine - Pumpkins

Supplies:
Cricut Imagine
Nursery Tails
Martha Stewart Punch Around The Page - Swirling Lace
Create a Critter Cricut (CAC) cart
cardstock (white and an optional background card color)
American Crafts Premium Ribbon (Gracious)
Cuttlebug (CB) and Embossing folder

I cut the pumpkins from the CAC cart using the Imagine. I chose the orange color using the Imagine Nursery Tails cart. The sizes are 1", 1.5" and 2". The shadows are the same size, just a different color (chosed from the Nursery Tail cart). Pumpkins are dry embossed using the CB.

I love this ribbon and wish I could find it by the roll. I love ribbon with texture and it is hard to find except in small packaging.

The white paper is 3.25" by 5". This was a test to see if I could figure out this new MS punch I bought at Michaels for $14.99. I usually don't buy punches, but wanted to try this. I have a circle punch, an edge punch, a corner rounder and now this MS Punch. It's ok, I like the look but I might go pick up one that is less decorative in addition to this one.

Imagine - Owl Card

Lots of 3D on this one. I used the Imagine Nursery Tails cart to make this card. Everything was cut at 5". All paper started as white paper, except the pink card. I feel like this owl is saying "HI!" or "Hello!" So I may add that later to the front of the card.

I made this just for fun. Fall break starts tomorrow so the homework load was lighter tonight and I got my work finished early, so I had a little time to play before bed time. I have to mention, my husband vaccumed the house today (without being asked-wow I know!!!!). WAAHHHOOOO!!!! Shout out to him - if he happens to read my post in the next few days. ♥ ya honey!

Imagine - Eiffel Tower (Paper Frame)

I made this using the Imagine More cart. The Eiffel Tower actually goes with a different icon but I thought it would look good here. I removed the word "Notes" from the top of the brown frame. All paper was ivory color when I started. I altered the 2 inside frames from what the cart suggests. I thought the music notes would look cool with the tower. Hopefully one day I will be able to visit Paris...it would be great!

The clasp at the top is Tim Holtz.
My niece's kitchen has a French theme. We are going over to watch football and celebrate my sister in law's birthday so I thought I would give this to my niece as a thank you for having us over...along with cheese dip, bean dip, and gaucamole. She is making chili. Sooo excited!!!

Imagine - Birthday Card

Here is a birthday card I made for my Sister - in - law. All images are from Imagine More cart. The butterfly was cut at 2.5, the frame at 5 and the red background at 5.2 (I think).

Imagine - Best Friends #1

My daughter asked me to cut this out for her the day I received the Imagine. Tonight I finally got around to cutting out this little friend. In this picture you can see how much my calibration was off. At a later date, I will try to recalibrate. I tried a few times when I received the machine but just couldn't get it right. I don't think it will ever be perfect...time will tell.

Imagine - Imagine More "Just Because" Card

Card and Front of Envelope

Card and Back of Envelope

I made this card and envelope using the Imagine More cart. The envelope is cut at 10" and the card at 7". The frame is cut at 2.8 and the frame insert is cut at 2.1. "Just Because" is cut at 2.9 real size.

I am loving the "Load Last" feature on the Imagine. I just found it tonight. It helps you all the paper you originally placed on the mat.

I originally made this card for my boss for Bosses Day, but since my calibration is not just right, I am going to make him something else.

Imagine - Forever Young Purse

This purse was cut at 4". All the paper used was white cardstock. I printed the pattern on the purse with the Cricut Imagine. The tag is from the Nursery Tails cart - and the tag background was also altered with the Cricut Imagine. The poodle is from the Create a Critter cart and again...I altered the colors using the Imagine. What an amazing machine!!!!!

I wanted to add ribbon to the bottom of the purse, but it didn't wrap around the purse neatly so I left it off.

Simple Joys - First Imagine Project!!!!

WOW!

WOW!

WOW!

I really like the Imagine. These are my very first cuts with my new Imagine. I started setting it up around 7:30pm and it is now 11:17pm and I am finished. The only thing I did not do is put a sentiment on the inside of this card.

I used the new Imagine carts..."Imagine More" and "Nursery Tails'.

I found pop dots very useful for adding the 3D effect.

Let me know what you think...

Thanks!!!!!
