Alien Among Us

(Click picture to enlarge image)
My son requested a robot layout for his scrapbook. This is a 2 page layout. I don't do very many layouts anymore. I like to order preprinted books from Shutterfly or Sams, but I couldn't resist his request. The robots were created a while back - I just now got around to finishing the layout.

He was excited when I finished the layout, I got 2 hugs and a kiss. He's such a sweetie...when I was scrapping at my desk earlier today, he suggested I open my Ott-lite...he had hidden a suncatcher inside for me. We bought a pack of suncatchers yesterday at HL and the kids painted them yesterday.

Supplies:
Tim Holtz Sprocket Gears
Cricut Robotz Cart
Stampin' Spots - Tempting Turquiose
Stampin' Spots - Green Galore
Recollections Patterned paper (4 Sheets listed below)

  • Rockets 'n' Sprockets Gear Head
  • Rockets 'n' Sprockets Blast Off
  • Rockets 'n' Sprockets Switchback
  • mom's diner Salt

The paper sprockets were cut using the "font" feature of Robot44 - they were cut at 10 3/4, 7" and 5" if I am not mistaken. The circle inside the biggest sprocket is the "font" feature of Robot30.

The font is from the Robotz cart; cut at 1 1/2".

***forgot to add, I used silver brads on the sprockets - inked them with Tim Holtz Copper Metallic Alcohol Ink.
