Fruits of the Spirit
My children attend a private school and they are having a silent auction fund raiser. As room mom, I am in charge of creating a basket for our silent auction and also an art piece for the parents to bid on.
My daughter's teacher sent me a picture of a canvas that looks like the one I created. Not sure where she got the picture from (sorry).
I taped off the blocks with painter's tape, then my 6 year old and I got to work painting.
On Friday, I went to school and got the kids to put their handprints/fingerprints on the canvas. I spent a couple of nights this week finishing up the project.
I used vinyl for the words.
I had a pear label I bought a few months ago from the Silhouette Library and I used it to create a pear for the back of the canvas. On the pear, I listed the fruits and the name of the child that created the fruit.
I am not an artist...but I think this turned out pretty cute. What do you think???

3D Flower Pot Gift Card Holder (Rework)
I felt like I needed to embellish both sides of the card for my previous project. This required a little rework on the original "front" side of the card. I wanted to make it easier for the room Mom to attach the gift card, so the back is now the front.
All files were purchased from the Silhouette library. If you have any specific questions, please let me know!
Thanks for looking! I look forward to your comments!
Flower Pot Gift Card Holder
My children's school is having a silent auction and every class is donating a basket for the auction. I am doing a scrapbooking basket for my daughter's class. The room mom from my son's class asked me to make a gift card holder for the gardening basket. I have seen these cards but never made one, so tonight I thought it may be a good option.
I bought the file for this from the Silhouette Library and I also used the 3D Daffodil file - also purchased from the Silhouette Library.
I think I will cut out "Gift Card" in vinyl and place it on the front so the gift card does not get thrown away.
Please let me know what you think! Thanks for looking!

Easter Layout
Since my kids have discovered I used to create scrapbooks for them, there is a high demand, esp from my daughter, to create new pages. This works in my favor when I want to take a pic of my daughter but she isn't feeling it at the moment.
I purchased this layout template from the Silhouette Library. I added the scallop top border. I'm a huge fan of dry embossing so I dry embossed the egg. If my husband had not saved the day, I would have embossed the entire solid pink area bc I got adhesive on it and it wasn't looking pretty at all. (Thanks honey!)
Thanks for looking! Happy Easter everyone!

Magnolia
I created this magnolia using a cut file from the Silhouette library (purchasing available in the Silhouette library). This is so easy to do and so pretty! There are 2 sets of petals, both sets are the same, except one is larger than the other one. Place the 2 large pieces on bottom and the smaller pieces on top adorn with the carpel, then shape as desired. I used a brad to hold all the pieces together.

3D Passion Fruit
I purchased this file from the Silhouette Library and I am so happy with the way it turned out. I live in Alabama and passion fruit is NOT native here, however, I have a vine that grows in my flower bed every year.. It brings me so much joy in photographing the flowers. When I saw this file in the library, I knew I had to try it. This is very easy to create and so much fun!
