Lettering Delights - Hop you are feeling better!!!

I need an easy Get well soon card, so this is what I came up with. It is all digitial...from Lettering Delights. Tomorrow, I plan to print this out and add some embellishments...just too tired today!

The heart embel is "Girl Power"
The frog is from "Frog and Kisses" (as well as the lily pad!)
I added the text electronically.

Create a Critter Penguin Card

I really wanted to try out my Peachy Keen Stamps...so here is my project. I used PK-520 Winter Face Assortment. I made the scalloped card and overlays using my Gypsy along with the George and Plantin Schoolbook carts. On the red layer, I dry embossed with my Cuttlebug and then heat embossed using Star Dust embossing powder by Stampendous. I just inked the entire piece of paper and then added the embossing powder...shook off the excess and then heat set it. My daughter LOVED it so much I had to make her a piece of paper just like it. :-) I used my Stampin Up! watercolor pencils to fill in his face. I typed "Chillin'" on my computer and printed it on cardstock...then I embossed the ends with my Cuttlebug. The white layer is dry embossed and the black card is only embossed on the scalloped edges.

This card is so appropriate for me right now. With the snow lingering and the roads still not clear, I have been chillin' all week!

National Champs!!!

War Eagle!!!!!

Get Whale Soon

I made this for my great nephew, who recently broke his leg when he fell off his bicycle. I used the Create a Critter cart for the whale and the pattern on the whale is from the Imagine Nursey Tails cart. I dry embossed the light background and added stickles all over! "Get Whale Soon" was printed on my printer as well as the whale face.

Snow Friend (a real one!)

This was our third largest snow ever! We got about 8 inches and are expecting more tomorrow. It is not going to get above freezing until Thursday (35 degrees). The city is shutdown. We had so much fun playing outside!!!

Critter faces

I saw a post on the Cricut Messageboard that inspired me to make these faces to use with the Create A Critter cart. I used PowerPoint to create the faces, I grouped everything together so it will be easy to use with different sizes of animals.
The suggestion was to use a printer to print the face on the "critter". Raskle got the idea from Okie.

It's snowing!!!!!!

I've been watching for the snow to arrive...it's finally here. I can't believe how fast everything is turning white!!!! This is our second time to have snow this winter. The first was Christmas morning, so unusual for the South. Hoping we do not loose power tomorrow...gotta watch Auburn play for the National Championship, WAR EAGLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
